Why "Chava"?
Chava means life. It was the name of the first woman in history, who is appropriately described in Torah as "the mother of all life."
Judaism has always championed the role of women and their unique contribution to society, acknowledging them as the beating heart of the world.
The Chava Society was founded in memory of Leah's grandmother, Rebetzin Chave Hecht OBM, a strong Jewish woman who dedicated her life to educating and empowering women leaders and always radiated with joy, purpose and love.
