With rising antisemitism, we are confronted with challenging questions about our Jewish identities: What does being Jewish mean to us? Why is it worth sacrificing for? And, more importantly, can we use this moment to find deep meaning in our Jewish heritage?

Join us on Sunday evening for an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation with Kassy Akiva as she shares her personal journey to Judaism that was sparked by antisemitism on college campus, exploring the challenges and triumphs of conversion, faith, and belonging. Kassy will discuss the complexities of Jewish identity in today's world, the rise of antisemitism, and what it means to live authentically as a Jew in modern society.

Kassy Akiva is an accomplished reporter and video journalist. She completed her conversion to Judaism in 2023 - a few months before October 7 - after years of study and multiple trips to Israel.
